If I actually thought singing a petition would work I would do it. Ultimately what we do is completely useless because regardless of our efforts so long as key elements in the US government continue to unilaterally support Israel there will be no incentive for it to stop fucking shit up in the middle east. When you're backed up by the big guy no matter what you do you have no real motivation to play nice with your neighbours or even pretend to follow international law.
"All of your family and friends have been murdered by Israël and the elected Hamas has pledged the destruction of your country but you guys should stop fighting cause I've got a name list here that says you should stop."
I'm more down with the boycotting of Israel at the consumer level. Not sure how it can be done here but I've heard a few things about it.
I'm boycotting matzoh ball soup, knishes and all things hollywood until this is resolved.
Ok, I meant boycotting Israeli products, not jewish products.
The only product that I can think of that Israel exports is misery and despair... I'm already boycotting that.
