Its probably just the room they're in. It most have a "presence". I bet if they'd had a totally different experiment, there would have been sparks as well. Like a mouse in a wheel would produce electricity in that room. Its just some rooms, they're electrically charged. I once worked with an old haitian woman, and she couldnt walk without dragging her feet. Everytime she'd touch something she sparked. Its just the room.
