keep it alive!

why are we letting this blog die?

I'm introducing a new topic so that those of you lacking creative impulses can find your place within this realm.

Here's my contribution: Did you know that "Butterflies" were originally called "Flutterbys"?

challenge: beat that

ok, here's a good one:
if you know your indiana jones you'll know what i'm talking about!
You remember the scene in Raiders of the lost Ark where some dude challenges Indy with a saber in the middle of he street and he just shoots him? Well, apparently, Steven Speilberg had hired a local stuntman (i believe they shot these scenes in morroco, but i may be wrong) to perform what was supposed to be a long and exciting fight sequence. So the guy trained for months, anxious to finally get a long part in a major american blockbuster, and his day finally came. Unfortunately for him, the crew had had a very long day, and the sequence was to be shot last on that day. I can't remember if it was one of the producers or Speilberg himself who proposed to have Indy just shoot the guy and spare everyone a few more hours of work that day. The sequence is now what you see in the film and the local stuntman never got his big break. SUCKS FOR YOU DOOD!!
