On another NOTE

This is one of the most insane things I've ever seen. It's hilarious at times and really sad at others. I haven't watched the whole thing, just skipped through... but man.... people are nuts.

Star Wars Uncut: Director's Cut from Casey Pugh on Vimeo.

Casey Pugh and editor Aaron Valdez, with sound designer Bryan Pugh directed this crowdsourced art project recreating George Lucas' Star Wars: Episode IV—A New Hope. They broke down the movie in 15-second segments, inviting fans and artists to recreate scenes in any style they desired. Here is the background: In 2009, thousands of Internet users were asked to remake “Star Wars: A New Hope” into a fan film, 15 seconds at a time. Contributors were allowed to recreate scenes from Star Wars however they wanted. Within just a few months SWU grew into a wild success. The creativity that poured into the project was unimaginable. SWU has been featured in documentaries, news features and conferences around the world for its unique appeal. In 2010 we won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media.

Hilarious and sad indeed!
I only watched around the death star attack, and the funniest part was at 1:43:02.
Saddest: 1:49:57
Check out that fucking loser playing with his legos and Vader helmet!

Also, I gotta say I was considerably disapointed with Porkins's death.

Very impressive. I also like the circa 1992 Mac animation.
