So I can remember us arguing one night about Tom Morello of Rage. One of us had just bought Guitar Hero Legends and we were confused as to why he was one of the main characters in the game since there was nothing special about his songs. Well ever since then I've kept an ear open to his music. I've concluded that he deserved to be in the game but that the songs chosen didn't do him credit. He's awesome.
Here's a clip from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th anniversary concert where he plays The Ghost of Tom Joad with Bruce Springsteen. The video sucks in this one but the audio's good.

I made a real big effort and listened through the whole first 3 minutes of this video and I don't think he scratched a chord.
Anyways. He's definitely not a legend. Shit. You could fill up at least 4 video games with real guitar legends before getting to this guy.

I will admit to having not read carefully enough. I had not noticed that it was a Legends version. That being said, the solos in the video were delicious.
Dear Satyre, please watch the whole video. The second solo is awesome.
Video was good, song was great, accompaniment, singing, guitar playing. Everything was really good. Tom Morello is a skilled guitar player and he does interesting trickery... Not a legend. Let me remind you that the guys who made guitar hero are sadly stuck in the nineties a.k.a. the Spin Doctors years. If anything, Tom Morello is catchy, he is a musical spin doctor if you will.
I think its the "Over Rated" version of GH you got.
