Apparently 1984 was the year of the rat. I just found this out. I wonder if Orwell knew of this...

    Did you know that Orwell was with the "Order of the Illuminati"?

    and that the year of the Rat's digits add up to 22, and when you add the number 1 to 22, you get... 23!
