non sequitur is latin for "does not follow". it has nothing to do with english. I think you should abandon your studies and just come get drunk with me on the 19th since that's my last exam day.
I barely passed my Latin classes anyways so I'm not much more advanced in that respect. I just recognize the root of sequitur and think of the common term "sequence".
